Relaxing place to stay. Comfortable and a fantastic kitchen to cook in.

We enjoyed the privacy, hidden away in the forest. Loved the fully equipped kitchen which we used both nights. Its rare to get such lovely sharp knives. Thank you! Also enjoyed the roaring fire over those chilly nights.

Would have appreciated a more modern, cleaner BBQ, eg a weber. We are used to cooking our meat on a BBQ rather than a frying pan so we looked for a holiday home that had one. It didn't look great so we didn't want to use it.

Perfect weekend getway! Highly recommend.

Stunning setting in the trees. Lovely, modern home. Comfortable with nice sized kitchen, lounge and rooms!

Perhaps, it could have been a bit cleaner. Very small bathroom.

Wonderful ambience. Beautiful architectural design. Peaceful forested location close to the roaring sea.

Only a minor issue. A little warm at night in bedroom but could not open windows for any length of time as no fly wire.

A delight to spend time in this wonderful property. Hard to leave. Highly recommend.

This property is exceptional. Beautifully designed and built. It was such a pleasure to spend time there. We also enjoyed the friendly Weka birds who visited (we didn't feed them :-) We had everything we needed and were very reluctant to leave. Great walk down to the water. Some may find the lack of complete privacy between the two bedrooms uncomfortable, but we were with good friends so didn't mind and didn't need the dividing screen. This is an architectural gem in beautiful surroundings. Bravo Hosts! Thank you for sharing it.

Beautiful setting amongst the native bush. It was like stepping back in time! Very comfy bed - had the best sleep I have had in a long time. Great communication from the hosts - thank you! Awesome place you have here.

This is truly a unique experience. A beautiful location and the house is fully equipped with everything you need. Great place to relax, get back to nature and enjoy the great outdoors.

The large sliding doors opened up the house , making you feel you were right in the forest . Awesome design and super comfortable.

Great location, supportive communication, beautiful Accommodation and sounding environment.

We had no problems. Worth knowing that sound wise all guests are in the one space. This didn't bother us. Great stay!

We had a fabulous stay, couldn't fault the place, will definitely be back.

We loved everything about the house, it had everything that we needed and more and the bed was superb, i even looked to see what brand it was but couldn't find a label

A weka showed up in the morning!! Beautiful.

No doors & half walls for bedrooms. Just a bit of a surprise. Not a problem, but would have been more comfortable knowing this in advance.

lovely place to stay, even on a windy, rainly cold winter night. Would say would be good to have some lights which were brighter for reading, current lights are lovely for mood, but a bit hard to read by.

Amazing Spot

Absolutely loved our stay here. Very private, beautiful lush surroundings, fully equipped property with a full kitchen. The fire kept the place super cosy. Was the perfect place for weekend getaway and nature fix. Can’t wait to come back in the summer

It’s a nice secluded place a little hard to find initially but once you’re there, nothing else matters but the serenity.

Obviously a small house, with everything tightly but thoughtfully located.
