The rooms are clean, quiet and restful. The staff made everything simple and easy. I was the only person for the HSR shuttle and so the staff supplied a private taxi.
There is very little else in the area besides the Sheraton across the road and a couple of convenience stores. For recovery from long haul, this wasn’t an issue, and I had a great stay. However, next to the hotel there is a building site. No building work affected my time there but it would be worth checking the progress of construction before booking.

The room was large and very clean; the staff were terrific and a shuttle was arranged for our very early morning departure which was on time. While there is no evening restaurant in the hotel, it was at the Sheraton hotel over the road where we ate so still convenient.
While breakfast is available in the hotel, it wasn't at the time we left being quite early. Other hotels provide a packed breakfast to take away in that situation.

The only reason we booked Holiday Inn Taoyuan Airport is it's vicinity to the airport. The room size is generous. Alicia, the front desk personnel was very helpful and professional.
I wished that there were restaurants on site. The staff informed us that there is a restaurant at Sheraton across from the street. The upstairs unit was making a lot of banging noises and constant loud running sound across the room. I wonder about the sound proof quality of the place.
