My son loved the animals, he was provided some animal food and thoroughly enjoyed feeding them all especially the friendly goat.

It had a lovely family feel and we were made to feel very welcome
Maybe a heater in the bathroom would be a great addition- cold in the morning.

It was a good place to stay for the night and the hostess was very friendly and provided tasty bread, jams and fresh eggs for breakfast. The animals were very friendly and we enjoyed looking around the petting farm.

Great location for our hike, it was like a little farm,. love the variety of different animals, turtles, horse, goat, kunekune pigs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, cockatoos, love birds, quails, dogs and cats, the kids loved them all.
it was needing some TLC, hole in the door, no aircon or fan, too small in the room to fit bags and we couldn’t sit around the table to eat breakfast because of our bags, we travelled from Australia with our hiking gear and the room couldn’t hold luggage sizes, we came to hike the paparoa track.
