We absolutely loved our surprisingly peaceful stay in the middle of Jungu Batu cafes etc. Our basic room had a fridge & jug. Room was very clean & cleaned daily. We didn’t use pool but it looked clean.
Though limited English, the staff are helpful but not pushy. We booked a manta ray half day trip (D&G) for 250,000 which was wonderful! Also hired a scooter for 70000/day. On-site minimart has reasonable prices.
Arathmas ferry lands on closest part of beach to this homestay - just a few minutes walk down a very rough path. The other ferries landing at Jungu Batu beach are a 7 minute walk along a very narrow road. From all ferries landing at this beach you are likely to walk through water & carry your bags up the beach.
We loved everything!
No free filtered water - just 2 small bottles.
Bombarded with non-informative emails prior to stay but my questions were not answered.

Very clean and well presented, great shower, comfy bed. Great location for beach, trips, food, shops
Loud chickens at night so bring ear plugs if a light sleeper
