We are located in the Tranquil Village of Eagle Point...a 6 minute drive from
Paynesville's Cafe's and Shops.
GUESTS who love to EXPLORE the LAKES, FISH, CYCLE & PHOTOGRAPH BIRD-LIFE will be able to get local knowledge about the area from your RESIDENT HOSTS.
This is a special part of the Gippsland Lakes, as Eagle Point is on the edge of an OLD GROWTH FOREST with red gums hundreds of years old (some featuring "Aboriginal Canoe" trees).
KOALA COLONY & Koala Trail: accessible by a very short ferry ride from Paynesville
LOCAL WETLANDS: abundance of bird life, natural fauna park, LOTS of BIKE & WALKING TRACKS.
WATERFRONT CAFES: BANK, SUPERMARKETS, GIFT SHOPS in Paynesville.
AND: Wine and Food Trails, Buchan Caves, the Ninety Mile Ocean beach, and the ski fields of Mt Hotham are only 2 hours away.

we had a relaxing stay, Rose was very welcoming. views were great as the weather was kind to us being last week of Autumn. The only negative is the bathroom downstairs, nothing wrong with it at all but if you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I guess you have to get dressed fully. in saying this it was made clear upon booking so we only have ourselves to blame. we would most likely visit again perhaps when it is a bit warmer.

Friendly responsive hosts. Lovely loft room which was very clean and breakfast museli and cereal, milk all included. Charming water views especially with a full moon over the lake. The bathroom was spacious downstairs, via the outside steps, with good lighting and not an issue for us though might be more of a nuisance during the winter depending on the weather.
