Even though we were in the off season and the only guests there they made us feel welcome... I say "they" but really only the caretaker was there, Buda, a wonderful young man who did all that was required to make our stay memorable, he even made breakfast!

The only negative, which is not the pousada's fault, is the condition of the 19 kilometer long access road to Pratigi, which is in horrible condition, imagine driving in the moon with all the craters and you'll get the idea. Still , after 35 minutes of swerving , trying to find a path connecting all the holes it is well worth it. The beach is enormous and of incredibly fine sand, there is a river which discharges into the sea that is a dark tea color making an interesting contrast as it meets the sea.

Grounds are large and well kept. The pool was very clean and inviting. The bungalow was roomy and comfortable, the large covered porch with the hammock was used extensively. The breakfast was very good too!
The road was horrible, but that is not their responsibility. The signage on the other hand is their responsibility and it was totally absent. The directions that came with the confirmation sent us the wrong way., But the village is so small that you quickly realize you are heading the wrong way. It is set back from the road across from Mercado Pratigi at the very beginning of the village.
