About this house rental
Situated in Jaco, this attractive house for $410 per night is a great choice for your next break. A beautifully decorated 2,000 sq. ft. beachfront home on south Jacó beach. Fully air-conditioned with large pool, charcoal grill and lawn backyard. Located within walking distance (7 minutes) to the center of town (2 minute drive). This wonderful home with an oceanfront pool was recently remodeled and redecorated. Floors are tiled throughout. It boasts many wood finishes, including high ceilings and skillfully carved doors. Sliding doors in the living room open up to allow the fresh ocean breeze in. It’s a very secure property with a beautiful tropical wood fence and PVC windows and doors. The house is entirely air conditioned. The well equipped kitchen is complemented by a breakfast counter with stools and dining table for six. Two outside tables for four each allow for al fresco dining. The living room sits six people in comfortable couches around a smart TV (internet-connected) with Blu-ray player. One of the couches pulls out to a Full size bed. The Master bedroom has a King sized bed and its own smart TV (internet-connected), closet and ensuite bathroom. The Master Bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Double (Full) size bed and the third bedroom has one King size bed. These bedrooms have shelves and hanging space. A 22" charcoal Weber grill, a hammock on the porch and plenty of pool chairs let you soak the good life. We have wireless high speed internet connectivity for those wanting to stay in touch with the real world or wanting to call home for free via VOIP. Great location. Across the street from the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. The pool area is awesome and Gabriel was great in checking us in and answering our questions. The house was spotless and exactly as advertised.

Overall it was a great experience. Short walk to many restaurants and shops. Gabriel was very informative and easy to communicate with. He set up our shuttle from the airport and our excursions. I would definitely recommend this property.

My family stayed at Casa Mandolina in April 2022. The home exceeded our expectations. The home & location were great, and the garden/pool/outdoor areas were exceptional. Located a short walk from many restaurants/bars/coffee shops/grocery stores/etc. The house comfortably accommodated our family of 5. Gabriel, the management agent for the property, was great. He promptly answered any questions, provided recommendations, assisted with booking activities, and addressed any issues we had. I would highly recommend this property.

Stunning property directly across from the beach. Terrific yard with pool, plenty of chairs and loungers, a mango tree, and gorgeous shrubbery and landscaping. Meticulously maintained inside and out. Three bedrooms with three full bathrooms is wonderful, especially when travelling with a teen! Property manager Gabriel was wonderful and very responsive. Property is well protected with a padlocked gate, but one warning, don't leave anything outside at night. We were warned, but forgot and left some sandals and shoes outside, and by morning we were short 2 pairs of Under Armour slides, flip flops and a pair of sneakers. There is a great restaurant a short distance down the beach and it is an easy walk into Jaco to the grocery store, drug store etc. We would love to return to Casa Mandolina. We created wonderful memories with our grandsons! It is the ideal setting for family.

Excellent house to be across the street to the beautiful beach. The host was excellent and it made us very secure to know that we had a representative on the property to help us in any way, yet we had all the privacy we would want.
The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable and clean.
I will definitely stay there again.

Casa Mandolina was super clean and very nice. It is literally 10 steps away from the beach (which was never really crowded). The pool is very nice and the A/C worked amazing. They have a security guard who sits there in the front from 9:00am to 9:00 pm every day. The house also has an alarm system and 2 safes for your valuables. I would definitely recommend.

This house was awesome for six couples. Three bedroom with baths, decent kitchen and a good size living room. The pool an outdoor shower were great too. The location was a little sketchy. The house is across the road from a great surfing beach where the locals like to hangout. The house has large iron gates and a guard from 9am to 9 pm. (this may be normal for Costa Rica, I can't say) The rental company and in particular Gabriel were very professional and accommodating.

This was our fourth trip to Costa Rica and second visit to Jaco. We have definitely found the ideal house and location and will be staying at the Casa Mandolina from now on! In addition to the comfortable home, location, private pool and front row seat to Costa Rican sunsets, it's just a few minutes walk to a local fish market, meat market, bakery and liquor store. Fully stocked supermarket just a bit further. Nothing better than cooking corvina(sea bass) on the grill with cerveza or sangria in hand and watching the sunset. Highly recommended!

Things we did not like. 1) The door in the bedroom did not open to the pool. 2) The grill did not have propane. 3) The security guard was on the property. No privacy. 4) He worked 9am to 9 pm. I think we need security at night. 5) Fence on front left no privacy.
