Very nice beachfront location with swings, chairs and huts. W.r.t. to Philippines, price is on the higher end, but for this location its mid-range, which is represented by the rooms: mid-range; but the Sabang Beach area is generally more expensive, especially compared to the rest of Palawan, so all is appropriate. Staff is friendly but distant/passive/reserved.
Their cocktails and drinks are properly made, and the food is good: proper portions for proper prizes (good mid-range), though ingedients required on the menu are not always on stock.
Staff could be more open/warm and less reserved.

Not many travelers choose to stay in Sabang when visiting the Underground River, but I highly recommend it. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot right on the beach. There are several friendly dogs around the property that seem well cared for, which added to the charm. The rooms are simple but adequate.
I’m not very accustomed to rooster noise, and there were at least three right outside our room that started crowing around 3 am and woke us up. This seems quite common in many places we stayed in the Philippines, so I would simply recommend bringing earplugs.
Unrelated to the property, as this is handled by an external provider, but since I booked it through reception, I hope this helps others. If you are heading to El Nido after Sabang, I strongly recommend finding other travelers to share a private van. The shared vans dropped us at a kiosk in Salvacion, where we ended up waiting two and a half hours for the next van because the driver forgot we were there, so we had to wait for another one coming from Puerto Princesa.

Location was incredible, right on the beach
communication was poor, they didn't know we were arriving on the day even though I had a confirmed booking.
