The room was very spacious and very clean. And the bathroom was a very good size and also very clean. We were attending a wedding about 10 minutes drive away so basically just needed somewhere to sleep and didn’t really see much of the area.
Unfortunately we thought our breakfast was too oily and didn’t really enjoy it that much. Also we couldn’t decide if it was orange juice or orange squash in the jugs as seemed very watery.

Breakfast choices and food were very good.
A historic CAMRA awarded pub with excellent ales at reasonable prices.
The location is excellent for easy access to the town or buses to other beautiful places, countryside or beaches.
