Terrible. Other than the location and breakfast.
Location
Stinky rooms, lifts does not work, rooms too small, staff has excuses for everything but did not provide timely solution. They change room of my colleague 3 times in two days. They do not do the cleaning daily.carpet smell musty. Staff gets upset for asking questions.

Perfect location in Amsterdam!
This was an excellent location for airport access (bus) and museum visits. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning from the USA, so of course our room was not available. We were pleased to be able to check in at 1:00 PM, however (see what we didn’t like, below)—
Our room for two people was the tiniest we’ve ever encountered. It may be because it was the first available (see above).

Combined with flights from Southampton, was an extravagant four days! But a nice trip
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to transport links and attractions. Within walking distance of a good choice of places to eat. The no. 397 bus offers a simple 30 min bus transfer from Schiphol airport direct to a stop at Leidseplein, which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. At less than 4 Euro per person it is the easiest (and by far cheapest!) way to get to and from the airport. A taxi will cost you around 40 Euro! Use either Google maps or rome2rio.com for help with this. The public transport is SO simple to use! Just tap on and tap off with a debit card. Breakfast at the hotel is very good - and plenty of it! And if you're an early starter, make use of it, as we couldn't find anywhere serving breakfast locally that opened before 9am. However, don't add breakfast to your booking before you arrive, as the hotel will give you the first one free at check-in. Then check the price with them for subsequent ones, as if you book through booking.com, they should do it for 16.50 Euro PP (3 Euro off)
The room we were originally allocated was EXTREMELY small. I'd go so far as to say it was probably the smallest room my wife and I have ever stayed in! Sitting on the end of the bed, if you bent down to do your shoes up, you would hit your head on the wall, and there was not enough space on the floor for two small carry-on cases without tripping over them. But it was apparently of comparable size and design to most rooms of that standard in the hotel. However, when the poorly designed shower door decided to cover the postage-stamp sized bathroom floor with water, and there was no way to mop it up and no way anyone could enter afterwards without getting their feet soaked, I complained. Fortunately we were moved to a much nicer and larger room on the 4th floor, with a lovely view of the Rijksmuseum
