Very good breakfast included at the hotel (who owns the apartment), located in a beautiful square, great for a one night stay

It’s now owned by a hotel and you check in there, that wasn’t clear from any instructions we got but we managed to contact the previous owner who explained where to get the keys

Breakfast was excellent and well served

The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was exceptional, with a variety of meats and cheeses, as well as yogurt, eggs, and the usual abundance of sweets. Really appreciated the protein!

Like any ancient building that is updated, the bathroom wasn’t perfect. No biggie.

We were so excited to stay in a historic hotel and had carefully read the reviews before booking. We travel a lot and reviews are an important factor in deciding where to stay. Unfortunately this time was a miss for us. To get to our room we had to go to a separate building and through the breakfast room, kitchen and an office area. It was slightly musty and we were told that the kitchen crew would start up at 7:30. The ladies that make breakfast are very kind and come with a basket to the table of goodies with more available inside. Fortunately they were able to move us to the main hotel. There was only sporadic internet service to the new room and that room we could use for just 2 nights and then pack up to another adjacent room. We wanted to relax and didn’t expect to have to change rooms. The manager was not friendly and blamed us for losing a nights rent on the 1st room. After that we felt uncomfortable, unwelcome and just wanted to leave.
