The property was clean, the receptionist, who doubled as the breakfast staff, was friendly and had a great sense of humour.
Probably not usually a big deal in Finland, but it was quite a warm night and there was no cooling or fan available in the room.

Big room with a separate ’living room’. Perfectly clean and modern. Good price. The 20-minute walk to the centre did not harm thanks to excellent walking paths.

It was good for the stay - cheaper option and only a short walk to where we wanted to go and into town.
Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and generally had what we needed and paid for.
Breakfast provided was OK.
The facilities of the hotel are really basic. Signage in the hotel was very confusing (breakfast was advertised on 2 different floors) and it was difficult to see who to contact if there was an issue with the room or facilities (we had no shower gel in the room the whole stay and it wasn't easy to let housekeeping know). The room was good value, but the bathroom did not cope if someone had a shower. The floor around the toilet would flood - not ideal if another person in the room wanted to use it after. Bedding, bins and towels were not changed during the stay (3 nights I would expect at least 1 towel and bin change). Breakfast included would really benefit from more fruit options and bread/pastry options.
