Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Golf Resort

The rooms were spacious and soundproof. The food was lovely and reasonably priced in the lounge. Breakfast was fab and lots of choice.

The spa treatments are a little overpriced in my opinion.

The Wolseley is a great place to land in The region. Close to all the small interesting towns. It has good lounges, great gym and leisure centre and shout out to Fernando, the best staff member who was super helpful.

Food excellent and entertainment that night was great.

Beautiful countryside location. Surrounded by parkland and the golf course. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

The hotel is huge, but seems to have neither the staff nor the investment to keep it cleaned and maintained to the 4🌟 standard which it claims to be. Perhaps once, in the past, the hotel was 4🌟 but now it’s 3🌟 at best. The Aaron Lounge is particularly grubby…sticky carpet, sticky tables…reflects very poorly. A more serious problem for us was the noise: large noisy aircon unit running on the roof above our room 24/7, and the tractors mowing the grass on the golf course directly opposite the hotel…at 6:00 in the morning!! A little bit of professional thinking and planning could solve so much. When we complained about the noise, the staff was sympathetic…we were offered a change of room - but because we were preparing to head out to a wedding we did not have time to pack up everything and move rooms. And sadly, I’m not confident that it would have been any better anyway!
