Nice hotel , relaxing, good breakfast.
Bonus was the hypermarket next door and McDonalds if that is your taste.

A lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff.
The location is not ideal for visiting Leipzig itself as it is at the southern tip of the city and is not close to a tram stop, although there are buses.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
One member of staff at reception was a bit curt. I had booked a basic room, but upon arrival, I was told that if I wanted tea-making facilities, I would have to pay an extra €20 a night. Being British and addicted to my morning cuppa, I paid the money! I couldn't help thinking that even a basic room in a Travelodge in the UK would include a kettle and teabags. The biggest gripe though was how long it took to travel by public transport to and from the centre of Leipzig. Busses were very infrequent and the later it was (we're talking 9pm), the longer it took. Next time, I'll pay a bit more and stay more centrally.
