Breakfast was varied and a good mix, even if you were later, the buffet was still stocked up. Room was spacious and clean, easy access. Only 5 min walk to Europa Park, which was the reason for the visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bed cover didn't cover the whole bed, which seems an odd choice - as I was on my own, this wasn't really an issue, but if you were a couple, this could be interesting!

Hotel Löwen is a practical choice if you're visiting Europa-Park. The location is unbeatable (about a 10-minute walk to the main entrance, which is very convenient). The breakfast was also excellent and, without a doubt, the highlight of the stay.
Everything else was just "okay." The staff was nice enough, and the room was clean and functional, but nothing out of the ordinary. To be objective, I found the price a bit high for what was offered. It’s a solid, functional hotel if you prioritize proximity to the park, but don't expect a luxury experience.
It's a practical choice for the location, but it lacks attention to detail. The soundproofing leaves something to be desired, and I felt the facilities were lacking in comfort... they really seem to be in need of an update.

Simple room, but good for a place like this where most everyone is coming to visit Europa Park or Rulantica, not to stay in their hotel room. We had the space that we needed, it was clean, and even had a little balcony area. There was a plentiful breakfast, and the staff, who we only saw in the mornings, were pleasant. Information for self check-in was communicated clearly ahead of time.
The price seems high for what you get here, but we stayed over Halloween to attend the events at Europa Park, so it's quite possible the prices were higher due to demand that weekend.
