Bathroom was very clean and cleaning towels and bedding were provided. The location was easy to find and it was located in a good central area.
The ventilation in the room could be better and a mini fridge and a microwave would have helped. Also, the early closing hours of the reception made it a bit challenging to ask questions.

The couple who run the hotel are exceptionally kind and thoughtful. I was a little anxious before we arrived about how the code to access keys would work but they stayed up to give us our keys in person and were very welcoming. I could see that the code system works well, though.
The hotel is about 12 minutes' walk from the station and a pleasant 5-minute walk onwards to the centre of Halle.
The breakfast is well worth paying for.
