We've been coming to this hotel for 10 years now - proof that we appreciate it. The location is fantastic for dog owners, with kilometres of walking paths in the forest around the hotel. The patio with its koi pond is a lovely area for a drink (or indeed a meal if the weather is warm enough). The staff are friendly and service-minded. Our room was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with locally-produced food. We really appreciate the electric car chargers that enable us to start the day fully charged!

Nice hotel next to the forest. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed one night on our way travelling and it was fine for this purpose. Dogfriendly and nice with a terrace.
Our double room was quite small especially when you have a dog with you. We were only there for one night, so it was not really a problem, but would not stay longer. The guests in the room next to us were smoking on their terrace and it was quite warm, so we couldn’t have our windows closed. The hotel should divide in smoking and no-smoking sections, that would have made our stay more pleasant.

compared with the hotel Freigeist gottingen, this one is definitely not worth for the money. barely equipped with facilities you would expect of a 4-star hotel.
