The room was very clean. The Wi-Fi wasn't very fast, but I was able to use it without any issues. The location was good because it was close to El Colegio de México, but it wasn't very convenient for getting to downtown.

It's inconvenient if you're going to downtown, which is the main tourist area. Other than that, there's nothing in particular.

the room was spacious and had a section for work, for sitting and eating and for all of it. A nice clean tub with bubbles, and very clean and firm beds. Room service is 24 hours! very cool. Located very near amazing places to eat and visit, though not the Zocalo oe center of town. the breakfast bar is amazing and delish open until noon. They are not that nice to Latinas--and think they did not treat as well as they treat white/gringos there.

The heated pool was not operational and we let the front know they did not have the power to fix it, or do something about it, we had to tell spa people. That was so weird. Also we accidentally broke a glass during food delivery, before drinking anything, and the server said he could not replace it because he would have to pay for it, he did not care to let people know that we did not even consume it. I was disappointed at the service and think if we were white/gringos he would have replaced it, but because we spoke Spanish and are Latinos they were not that nice.

Enormous bedroom junior suite, well planned hotel in a modern style, buffet breakfast was very good, in fact the breakfast is the hotel's only strong point.

When we checked in for 11 days and paid up front, the receptionist neglected to inform us the indoor pool was out of action, which it remained so until we left, one of the main criteria for selecting the hotel was it has an inddor pool. The soap in bathroom was extremely low grade, barely one star level, let alone 5 star. The toilet got blocked 3 times, in the end we used the toilet in the lobby to save having to call someone to clear it. The hotel has been overrun by progress, the road outside is now multi tiered and to leave and arrive you have to drive 2KM one way and then 2KM the other, whereupon you can wave at the hotel - extremely time consuming The towels in bathroom smelt stale and the stench of sewars coming through the plug hole was unpleasant In the gym - Towels were grudgingly handed out, absence of materials to clean equipment after use. The soap despeners in the showers were empty. There was an old pair of sock in locker 49 all the time we were there, indicating lack of attention to cleanliness. In fact the hotel is being run on a shoe string. Given the quality of soap, the water and the towels, it was no surprise that when we arrived home and took showers, the water was grey!! First time that has happened
