Located in a beautiful and charming town, clean room, comfy bed, old hotel with character and friendly staff (thanks again for sorting out a soup dinner even though the kitchen was closed when we arrived late)

I liked the restaurant very much (superb food and great drinks) and that staff.
The food they serve, is excellent!!
Also the breakfast was small but very cosy and personal, as they ask you if and what kind of an egg you want and prepare it on the spot.
Also the location and view are nice.
The location has a bit of a downfall as well. A church is an amazing view, but the bells ring every half hour, which is ok during the day. During the night it is a little less ok. Even if you close the window. Since there is no airconditioning, you have to open the window though... since it's the village centre, on a Saturday night, the locals are outside loudly talking.
I had a single room (so it might be different for double rooms) but it felt like they had a corner left and they didn't want to leave it unused. Although they didn't put much effort or thought into decorating it.
I didn't like the bed (I felt the springs in my ribs), the shower curtain, the lack of airconditioning in this very hot and stuffy room and lastly just the overall feel of they didn't care to make this room look nice. And for that price!!
