Superb

Clean room with comfortable bed. Private sauna is a plus. the hotel is located right next to the nature forest.

The temperature of the swimming pool is cold.

It was very good stay

Place was very good for stay as it having overall other facilities to use ,having various sports,bowling. Breakfast was very good.One thing we found that no direct bus to Santa clause village from Hotel,can take taxi easily.

Buffet style breakfast not too much choice Rooms spacious and lots of activities for the kids to enjoy

Breakfast was limited. Bowling had to be booked in advance to secure a decent time. About a 1.9km walk to centre. Only 1 restaurant was in full operation at the time we stayed and not very kid’s friendly menu offered

Understaffed hotel, facilities seem great but you don’t actually get to use them. Breakfast was good but has no toaster

Location was good, walk away to a supermarket, close driving distance to Ounasvaara Ski.

The hotel is advertised that guests can use the facilities such as the fun park and climbing wall however every time we go to use it, they always have bookings. The facilities are run as a recreation centre so basically their members get priority over hotel guests. Quite disappointing for our kids really when sometimes there would only be a couple of kids in the fun park and they were told they couldn’t go in. Another thing about the hotel is that they don’t clean your room. We first got the excuse that they were understaffed. Then we asked again the following day and we got the same excuse. On the third day, the receptionist assured us that our room would be cleaned first up the next day. No surprises when it wasn’t cleaned yet again. We had garbage that was stinking up the room that hadn’t been emptied. Piles of towels as we had to keep walking back to reception to collect clean ones and the used ones did not get collected. The room also didn’t come with a phone so it meant you had to walk to reception everytime you had a query.

Gracious, lovely staff...a wonderful place for children.

We stayed at the Ice Hotel the night before....we needed a WARM, COMFORTABLE place to recover!!! They graciously got us a room at 10 a.m. and also let us have breakfast when we arrived at 9 a.m. since we would be leaving too early the next day to have breakfast. What a lovely, gracious staff to do this for us!!

There is not anything nearby, but for our needs (sleep!) this didn't matter to us.

Great facilities/food to be desired

The facilities are fantastic, great swimming pool and play area for kids. Bowling was a great added bonus after a day in the snow. And most excursions collect from this hotel.

I was disappointed with the food on offer. The breakfast was quite limited. We did eat but the children didn't find much they liked. And the same for the dinner option. The food in the buffet restaurant was not something we would eat or the children so resorted to the sports bar. And only options there were burger/nuggets and chips. Forcing people to eat out. And also limited supply's in the kitchenette. No mugs for hot drinks. No hob to cook on only microwave/oven.

Too much school/institution feeling. Labyrinth to get to the different elevators for the room and breakfast. And breakfast was simple and like a school diner room. No coffee in the room, and no extra pillow.. high price compared to standard

Great place to stay if you like sports. Swiming pool, gym, bike rentals, other activities around the site. Cosy and well equiped room.

This property would have been an amazing place with a little smile and some politeness of the staff.

The room of course. It was really spacious and clean. Inside the room there were good facilities like a dishwasher, microwave, tea coffee making, etc. We enjoyed staying in the room.

Most of the staff was not friendly at all. Only one male receptionist was so friendly, but we met him only at the time we checked in. The others were rude, and was carrying such an attitude. When we asked something, they have answered like we were asking something for free. Didn't care at all. I would have stared highest if not this.

Plenty of extras just nearby and partly included.

Well, it's a sports academy with plenty of sporting opportunities. Breakfast is served in a typical student canteen with a bit of additional hotel breakfast offering. Never really thought that amount of table space could be a problem, but here it really is.
