Grand Hotel Victoria concept & spa, by R Collection Hotels

The breakfast was an all-inclusive, buffet-style layout with a gorgeous backdrop and very aesthetically pleasing organization. Things were clearly labeled, the food was of the highest quality, and the staff moved to help expeditiously. The room was beautiful with up-to-date technology, a spacious layout, and all the amenities one would need and then some. The shower system is surprisingly the most standout feature with a overhead waterfall system that provided more of a mist which felt extremely refreshing. The room was always made and looked even better than the pictures. The hotel itself is beautiful-- great color scheme, fine luxury accents everywhere, unbelievable amenities; it truly holds up to the 5-star-lusso classification. Of course, it is on the water and has its own private entrance and exits. Now the most stand-out portion of my entire experience there: the staff. I notified them of my plans to propose ahead of time and requested to be discreet about it to keep it a surprise. Not only did the staff accommodate, they treated us like royalty including upgrades, gifts, and spa access. They'd arrange transport (transport is very difficult depending on time of year and road closures in that area), always checked in with me to see if there was anything else they could do, were extremely responsive, and they truly elevated the entire experience to another level.

My only regret is that I only had a few days to spend in the Lake Como area and at the Grand Hotel Victoria Concept and Spa. I will be sure to have an extended stay the next time I am there, which will definitely be in the near future.

Loved this hotel its top level customer service, location, restaurant, bar, music, atmosphere, comfort, concerige .. can’t say enough about the excellent hospitality and experience!

Rooms could be a bit bigger, AC cooler, room rate high.
