The staff was superb, friendly & professional. Really enjoyed the Turkish breakfast, small bites and nice breads, there were different kinds of soup, really enjoyed the lentil soup, and the friendly cook!
The interior is quite neat of the lobby and halls, but my room wasn’t updated yet, the agora, but I knew that before I booked. And it was fine, it was clean and comfortable. Maybe some wear of old age, but okay. I did book it for the nice big balcony and the views.
What I think could’ve really improve the overall status and lift it to a much higher level, is the balcony/patio was really empty. Could’ve been so much better with some plants or statues. The same with the view from the restaurant. Maybe plant a tree outside, think would lift it even higher:)

Very retro and professional. Love the turtles outside. Very accessible as it’s near the metro and our favourite chicken resto, and dessert shop. They’re extremely clean.
Add more hangers in the room.

Close to food places, real local feel and bonus parking. Walk to smyrna and pass by local market and see real people at work.
Nothing much. If you like more touristy and cozy lifestyle, maybe not for you. But this is the real izmir especially at night, locals eat and drink their tea or coffee.

The hotel was in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the metro, train, tram and bazaar. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
The floor mats looked dirty and tattered. The rooms had a blinking blue light around the big mirror that served no purpose and was a pain to figure out how to turn off.
