Very friendly staff and very nice location. Quiet room with comfortable bed
The building could be painted black like other premises on the location ;-)

Breakfast was good, tasty and plentiful, good variety. Beautiful view from the breakfast room if you can ignore the building site.
The receptionist was not very helpful. We tried to book some activities but she was obviously not interested in assisting us at all.
There is no sauna, so you have to drive to a different hotel, which is much much better than this one. Sauna is super expensive.
There is construction, so the view is far from pretty. The booking page does not say there is construction around the hotel.
The hotel is shabby, not well maintained (apart from the restaurant). The room was small, and the curtains could not be closed completely, which causes trouble sleeping since the sun doesn't set.
The mosquito net was torn, and we taped it with adhesive tape to make sure there were no mosquitoes in the room.
The bathroom is very poorly lit.

Really modern and beautiful place to stay right next to Juutua. Breakfast was really really good! Also we have seen northern lights just above the hotel… That was beyond amazing!

I belong to the Sámi people, and I was pretty shocked when I came to this hotel and saw the staff wearing work costumes heavily inspired by our traditional gákti (sámi clothing). To me, this feels like cultural appropriation, and our traditional clothes are very valuable to us and are not meant to be exploited for commercial interests like hotels with no Sámi connection. I encourage this hotel to change these staff clothes and also guests who are coming to this hotel, ask why their staff is wearing Sámi inspired uniforms.

This is really a brand new hotel with all facilities new. We only stayed one night and the breakfast was generous. It has good location. The hotel is right on the side of Inari Lake and there is also a unique sauna by the lake.
Although the hotel is new, there will be some smell after furnished. We had a double-bed room with sockets on both sides of the bed, but only one side had electricity. There is heating under the window, but it was not working, only a small electric heater can be used. Although there was container of shampoo in the bathroom, it was empty inside.

The hotel lobby and restaurant are really nice decorated, very cosy, near a very nice river and the view is fantastic, also not far away from Inari lake (10 min walk). Quiet and not so busy. Employees are very nice and very helpful.
The food is very high standard and very good. We spent New Year´s Eve there and the 5 courses menu was fantastic!
Village Inari is at 10 min walk. You can park in front of the Hotel. If you book the activities at the Hotel you will be picked up at the front door and droven back.
Do not book the airport transfer! This is a ripp off! Instead of paying 100€ you can pay 30€ using the normal bus from Visit Inari. I booked the transfer with the hotel, the driver was 20 min too late after arrival of the flight and to go back to the airport when I left I had no private transfer but the normal one from Inari visit with 8 people to get!!
Rooms are very small. I booked for 1 night a room with sauna in the room but I got the room for disabled people and got no sauna... I was very disappointed as the room was very expensive.
Bathroom are not nice at all. In the main building,

The hotel is old but nice, on the river so nice view from the rooms and at breakfast.
Breakfast was nice.
One of the receptionists was very nice. The others - less...
Note there are no double beds at all in the hotel! (Although it is stated in Booking.com, and even costs more - you get the same room with 2 twin beds!)

Breakfast was excellent, the location on the river was beautiful and our room was very comfortable

Outstanding restaurant, charming decor throughout the hotel - simple, clean, nordic-style rooms and lovely sitting areas. The birch margarita before supper was divine!
Other than slightly noisy plumbing in the bathroom, everything was excellent and I will definitely come back the next time I am in northern Finland.

The hotel is absolutely unique - originally a Finnish state owned hotel from the 1930s, but now run by the same family in the second generation. The hotel retains its original layout, with relatively small rooms, but has been renovated recently. Bathrooms and amenities are modern, but the furniture is classic Finnish design from the 50s/60s (Artek / Aalto lamps and chairs / tables). Overall it has a minimalist / design but still cozy feel. Location is super quiet with beautiful views over the river.
Also recommend to try the on-site sauna facing the river.
The staff is also super friendly and helpful. We spend an evening sitting in the lounge and they came over to set up the fire for us - we had not asked for this - which made for a cozy / nice atmosphere.
The restaurant - Aanar is absolutely amazing. One of the best restaurants in Finland and definitely a "diamond" in this region of Finland. Modern, experimental cuisine based on local ingredients. Good portions and pricing is on point as well.
I wish more people would find this gem - truly unique in a quite rural location within Finland.
Rooms are on the small side, but there's a nice lounge with a fireplace downstairs to compensate!

the breakfast service was very good, we enjoyed the good variety.
the staff was very accommodating and helpful for every necessity.
the location was perfect, to walk around and to reach the restaurants and other pleases nearby.
the local restaurant was very tasty and refined, we enjoyed the good delicacies from Sami recipes.
maybe the room could have been more comfortable if it was one bed for 2 people, instead of 2 beds to be put together.
everything else was great :)

The reception was quite nice to allow us to check in earlier, and the location is very convenient to take a bus to Rovaniemi.

They have to prepare heater.

Breakfast was amazing, also the location just by the juutua river.
The heater was not working properly and we needed to leave the curtains wide open to make it work slightly better, according to the receptionist.

My sister and I stayed at the Kultahovi hotel for 3 nights. our stay was great !! All the staff is extremely kind, professional and very attentive. The restaurant is sublime, we tried the fish dishes, the soup and the reindeer which we absolutely recommend! we had the room with the sauna which was very welcomed in the afternoon after the full day outside! we definitely loved this place!
Nothing to say. All was great and perfect .

Very helpful staff! When we had Christmas dinner at the restaurant (probably best in town), the staff reminded us of Aurora! We saw the strongest one during our 5-day stay at Lapland. When we had early check out, the reception helped to prepare a takeaway breakfast as well.
Room facilities are relatively old (or not modern type rather since it follows the traditional design), but no impact on overall very comfortable stay!

the service is excellent and staff very friendly! second oldest hotel in Finland. the restaurant is a must, compliments to the chef! absolute value for money in a country where a lot of tourist services are heavily overpriced!
the rooms are a bit small, but nevertheless still comfortable. great for a few nights, maybe too small if you plan to stay a week or longer…. but if it’s just to sleep and eat this is fine

lovely peaceful location, cozy room with private sauna, amazing food and staff that took real care
nothing!
