The e staff were excellent. Breakfast superb. Dinner fine good choice ofmenu.

Disappointed with my room, no view from ye window. No drawers for bits and pieces. Shower over bath is fine but personally I had trouble getting in. On previous visits I have had superior rooms.

Large room, good location. Main bed comfy Bar look great and view but did not get chance use Receptionist super friendly

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable Shower head did move and little difficult

The location was fantastic for what we required of our stay. The bar area is quite nice and the food in the restaurant was ok, the staff were not the friendliest. The breakfast was nice and the head waitress Maggie is an absolute Gem of the hotel, her witty cheeky personality unfortunately hasn’t rubbed off on other members of staff. The water pressure is crazy takes seconds to run a bath .

It is a little dated and I’m not sure the head of house keeping checks the rooms before guests arrival as there were several little things that should of been dealt with, Curtains lacked hooks to stop them falling of the end of the pole and also not enough hooks on pole. Only one window opened, we asked for a double bed and got given two single beds pushed together and we kept rolling into the gap. The extractor fan didn’t work, the shower head was faulty and sprayed out and soaked the bathroom floor realised I could re angle it, but the top of the shower was thick with dust. The carpets are thread bare and it definitely doesn’t have good sound proofing.

Location is great and the history behind the building is interesting. Staff are very friendly.

An old building which is not a problem however the windows could do with a clean - likewise the glass around the outside terrace of the bar too. The balcony was a lovely space however once again this could be cleaned and possible freshened up - it was like sitting on a roof overlooking a dirty glass lantern - I know with so many seagulls and Pigeons this may be a hard ask however it looked as if nothing had been cleaned for months! Disappointing.
