The location was delightful overlooking the River Cher and close to many of the local Chateaux and towns . Our hostess was very charming and breakfast was excellent with many options and local products.
It was a pity that the Bath had been replaced by a Shower.

Ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge.
Die Unterkunft verfügt über keine Klimaanlage. Bei den hohen Außentemperaturen mussten die Fensterläden tagsüber geschlossen bleiben, damit sich die Räume nicht weiter aufheizen. Dadurch war es im Inneren den ganzen Tag sehr dunkel, trotzdem war es Nachts so heiß, dass man nicht richtig schlafen konnte.
Das Frühstück empfanden wir als wenig gastfreundlich. Jedem Gast wurden zwei winzige Stücke Brot und ein Klecks Marmelade hingestellt. Käse und Schinken musste man extra bestellen und wurde einem wie die Butter als einzelne Scheibe gebracht. Jedes weitere Stückchen mussten wir jeweils erfragen.
Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war die Nutzung der als Ausstattung bei aufgeführten Mikrowelle im Gemeinschaftsraum. Als wir sie für unser Abendessen nutzen wollten, wurden wir gefragt, warum wir nicht in ein Restaurant gingen. Auf unsere Bitte um Teller wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir diese selbst hätten mitbringen sollen. Dieses Verhalten empfanden wir als wenig gastfreundlich.
Die Lage ist nicht optimal. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar am Fluss, ist aber von Restaurants und Cafés relativ weit entfernt und das Grundstück wirkt nicht so schön wie auf den Bildern.
