About this house rental

Nestled in Woollamia, this lovely house for $96 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Le Shack is a self contained studio, waterfront and surrounded by trees, wildlife and birds. Only minutes driving from Huskisson beautiful beaches, shops and cafes. The studio has its own bathroom and deck with a BBQ and we offer coffee and tea facilities. Le Shack is our granny flat. It is semi attached to our main house and share its backyard with our main property but has its own entrance and deck. The studio is suitable for 2 adults + 1 child or 3 adults on a budget, please note the 3rd person sleeps on a mattress on a trundle bed. Not very confortable but very affordable. It is a small but cosy place where you will feel very welcomed and at home. The room is about 30 sqm. Like a hotel room. It does not have a stove in the room. Inside the room there's a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, a rice cooker and a pie oven. There's a BBQ with a side burner on the private deck for cooking. We will give you full privacy and we will share lots of local knowledge of the area. Our place is suitable for the ones that value nature. It is surrounded by nature: typical Australian bush with amazing wildlife (over 50s different species of birds, Kangaroos, Possums, Bendicuts etc) but also some not so amazing. They are all part of our environment and they all play an important part on natures cycle of life and food chain. So if you are not sure you like it, our place may not be for you and thatโ€™s ok. It is the perfect place to enjoy the buzz of Huskisson shops and cafes and have at the same time a bush experience staying in a quiet and pristine neighbourhood surrounded by wildlife and overlooking the river. The Shoalhaven region is blessed with one of the most scenically beautiful landscape on the east coast of Australia. With powder-fine white sand and clear turquoise waters, Jervis Bay's famous beaches are amongst the safest and most beautiful in the world. Unique combination of coastal, marine and hinterland National Parks offering fantastic bushwalking, cycling tracks, Indigenous culture, cliff-top lookouts and maritime heritage. Teeming with native Australian wildlife on land and sea, resident dolphins play in the bay all year round. See kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, parrots and many rare species in the wild. One of the best places in Australia to witness whales on their annual migrations, humpbacks and southern right whales can be seen both offshore and inside the calmer waters of the bay. The many beaches, lagoons, secret coves and hidden creeks are perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, standup paddle boarding and surfing. Unspoiled coastal and country villages with local produce markets, boutique shops, art galleries and a terrific museum. The area boasts world-class cafes, restaurants, pubs and wine bars.

Property was exactly as described. Smallish, but plenty of room for myself, 2 teenagers and a golden retriever. The boys loved kayaking on the river, whilst I sat on the deck reading.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here, a very peaceful location with loads of birds, great safe space for our dog to stay too. So much to see and do in the area we should've stayed longer.
