Reception staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young girl with a broken wrist - 10/10!. I upgraded to a half board package, both the breakfast and dinner were good for a budget level option.
The wine selection was limited and on the lower budget side, it might be worth stocking a few higher quality bottles for special requests. Unfortunately, there was no proper ski locker available, assigned to my room. While they provided a numbered padlock, it felt a free for all, and some guests used their own locks to block lockers. I ended up leaving my skis in a corner of the locker room, always worried someone might take them.

Location is as good as it gets in Alpe D'Huez directly opposite the Rif Nel piste it is ski in ski out.
Great view from panoramic windows in 4th floor dining room.
Room and shower was fine (except beds)
Boot room lockers were warm enough to dry and heat boots ready for morning.
Some staff were very pleasant and helpful, others less so.
Adjacent free parking.
Beds are not at all comfortable - hard board with a thin mattress, one was in a state of disrepair / creaked and squeaked with slightest movement so one of us resorted to sleeping on the floor one night after hotel failed to address it after first night (having said they would). Triple room is just a double with an extra roll away bed in it so pretty cosy.
Some staff were very pleasant, welcoming and helpful, others less so.
