it was an overnight from airport, but average
rooms refurbished recently
reception was not helpful and access at night was blocked, so we had to unload in the street

Hotel in the middle of popular shops in downtown Santarém, with friendly staff.
Very close to Tapajós river and the restaurants by the water. Also just a step away from all stores in downtown Santarém. Staff was very polite and ready to help!
First night I had trouble with the A/C and the second night I had a little trouble with my TV. But the managed to fix them.

Two nights in Santarem
Location was perfect. In the heart of the city where everything can be done on foot. Flexibility to check-in before 2 pm was also a plus. And also great value for the money.
What bothered me the most was the softness of the mattresses. Waaaaaaaaay tooooooo soft for comfort. I am used to sleeping in Japanese tatamis at home so my back suffered tremendously on the next day.
