I requested a little surprise as we were arriving on my husbands birthday. They decorated our room. Also we wanted to pay for late check out as our flight was in the evening. The owner Mr Cender, (who'd introduced himself to us on day 2) saw my husband and told him he didn't have to pay which was great as I am pregnant. People have left terrible reviews but to be honest, if you're looking for luxurious, then maybe not for you but we will be staying again next year.
My only dislike was that breakfast was repetitive and there wasn't much of a variety.

Looks nice, location was good and market at the lobby was helpful. Loved the pool area also! Good price for a vacation. Also the Cender taxi service was useful.
Breakfast could have more options and basics for picky eaters, elevators need air conditioning!

Great location and room view.
Taxi stand nearby as well as the old-style tram.
The room was clean and comfortable enough.
Looks like these are the last days of this hotel before renovation. The staff is lazy, breakfasts are poor - as noted in other review.

Cheap
No bar just a minimart inside the hotel where you bought your drinks and then sat in a soulless area.
