The front desk gentleman upgraded us to a balcony room after the first night without even asking! We were very grateful as it allowed an space to enjoy the outdoors and dry our clothes from the beach!
The room had efficient a/c and was very clean.
The best part was the restaurant at the hotel called Caviliere. The staff were very attentive. The entrecote steak and seafood linguine were so good that we had them three nights in a row.
Only half a mile to the beach. A big hill but easy for fit folk!
Buses are close by to Trieste with great places to eat and drink and of course full of cruiseshippers!
Great value for a short stay. Nice and quiet and a 11 am check out!

The atmosphere was relaxed, we found our key at the reception
Breakfast was a not the greatest, but okay, there was nobody at the reception - ever, the shower was broken, the distance to the beach must have been as the bird flies, it’s a 15-20 min walk with a lot of stairs
