This hotel is perfect for those who value character, and enjoy quirky beautiful old homes and friendly helpful staff The villa is beautifully situated with very pretty flower gardens, an avary, resident donkeys and a smallish swimming pool. The staff served us a freshly cooked supper in the garden.
Our rooms were comfortable, and the house is furnished with antiques.
During the day there was a nursary/ holiday club running forsmall friendly well- behaved children.
The Villa is not a regular standard tourist hotel, and makes little attempt to try to be one- rather we felt welcomed into a warm and friendly eccentric residence of family and friends.
I absolutely loved iy
We visited at the peak of the summer heatwave. The staff had made a good effort to offer fans and portable air conditioning. This improved things a little and we managed well with 2 fans.
Those demanding modern reguar hotel facillities would probably been annoyed- but for us it was a small inconnvenience that was more than made up for by everythinng else
