Great place

Clean, with a nice hot shower and a nice cold air-conditioning. Very helpful staff. Location felt much safer than I expected, even around 8 in the evening, when it's still busy at the main streets. It's a 20 minutes walk to the Malecon, which is by far the most interesting place in Guayaquil.

A small window with no view, but it was no big deal for me.

A perfect room for your stay in Guayaquil.

The room is very tidy and clean.White linen. It has A/C. It is very important in Guayaquil. Private bathroom with hot water shower. The water pressure and temperature is very good. Right in the city center. Close to everything. Uber is less than 5 dollar to get to anywhere including airport and bus staton. The owner family is really really kind and welcoming. It feels safe to stay at their place. They offer laundry service including washing and drying and folding for 8 dollar one basket. I love the quality of their laundry service. Super happy to receive my clean clothes. My departing flight was at 5pm. They allowed me to stay in the room (late check out) without extra charge. Actually it was too comfy to stay in the room that every day I didn't want to leave the room. Also their WiFi signal is very good. The best I had in Ecuador.

Excellent and comfortable stay!

Wonderfully clean and relaxing stay. Rooms were spotless and everything worked very well. Staff are very helpful and friendly . I couldn’t ask for more in terms of a hostel experience. Definitely recommend this place :)

Great place for a night!

Great family run pension that I stayed at for one night just after arriving in Ecuador. Lovely and helpful staff and very clean place, recommend staying here !

Due to the close road, it was a bit noisy in the beginning of the evening. There are no coffee making facilities.

Overpriced but great air-con

Spotlessly clean room in a modern house, excellent, quiet air-conditioning (very necessary in Guayaquil's heat and humidity), good location, only 5 minutes walk from the main street, Av. 9 de Octubre, where there are plenty of good value restaurants, and my room was fairly quiet, although as it's near the airport, I needed earplugs to drown out the noise of the planes landing and taking off (though they weren't too loud). Also on a safe, quiet street.

This place is way overpriced. When I first entered the house I was nearly knocked over by the heat. Thankfully there's air-conditioning in the rooms, which is excellent, because without it this place would be unbearable. For some reason the manager doesn't have the air-con running in the house itself and it's absolutely swelteringly hot. I don't know how the family can stand it. The manager, an old man, is very serious and not very friendly. There's nothing bad about him; he's just not your typically pleasant, friendly Ecuadorian. Also the breakfast was basic and paltry.

Helpful and kind owners/staff. Good bed. Brand new bathroom. Spotlessly clean.

Having somewhere to hang clothes and a small bedside table or shelf would make it perfect.

Exceeded expectations, 5 stars for that price

The single room I got was plain but modern and spotlessly clean, great shower and air conditioning, comfortable bed. Overall, the kind of room you'd expect from the basic package in an international hotel chain, so pretty good value for $21! I would highly recommend this place.

Kind of hard to find the place, I ended up just getting a taxi whenever I needed to get back
