I stayed here almost every time I come to Jakarta. The staff are warm and friendly and everything is nearby. The area is also building up to be nicer than when I first stayed here seven years ago. Sometimes gentrification is a good thing.
It's showing its age a little bit. The mattress in the room that I got was a tad bit soft so it necessitated a trip to the massage spa.

hot water took time. it was working, but took time. the height of table and chair a bit off and make tall person difficult to do work/eat on it.

No breakfast was offered for my room. It was made clear. By the staff.
The locks have aged since I was last here, the door sealing was not as good.
