Great location and walking distance to the Kokura train station. Also, not too long of a walk to Kokura Castle.
Quite a good breakfast selection at a cheap price. Japanese cuisine, Western cuisine as well as continental. Plenty of fresh fruit & if you wanted an omelette, it would be freshly made while you waited a short time. Overall, an excellent deal.
My only small issue was having to use a language translator app as the reception staff spoke little English, however i'm not going to complain as i speak zero Japanese :-)
Only one TV channel in English which was CNN news :-(

Excellent staff, big rooms and extra clean, amazing breakfast, very good location
Not having to pay for the fitness centre and the late checkout would have been better

The AC in the room was not working, but the staff brought up a portable AC unit/fan for our room that made the stay bearable. It was HOT without being able to open the windows.
