I loved our stay at Shaloha Guesthouse! The view of the ocean was spectacular! I could watch my husband surf Supertubes right from my bedroom balcony! The bed was very comfortable and our room was clean and spacious. The house was well stocked and professionally decorated. The staff were also very kind and courteous. I felt very safe in the house and neighborhood. I would love to return and stay here again!
I have always stayed in a hotel or Airbnb where you have the entire space to yourself. This was the first time I stayed in a guest house before - where you share the space with other travelers. For the most part, it was very comfortable and quiet. Most guests kept to themselves. I just found it a little strange when a guest arrived and 1 person slept in the bedroom and the other person slept on the common area great room couch. I didn't realize a guest could do that. It made it awkward coming home from dinner and waking up in the morning. I suppose it varies each time with each set of guests.

Amazing place with a beautiful view and great modern interior. The especially loved having a huge terrace, a braai and immediate access to a beautiful beach.
I can highly recommend this place and would always come back if going to Jeffreys Bay again.
