Amazing location, super close to Vila do Gerês and many trails/walks, as well as the river with an awesome beach. Great views from the rooms, felt very serene.
Spacious rooms, comfortable and clean. Kitchen in the apartment had some washing up liquid and a sponge which was nice. Good balconies on both types of rooms..
Really nice breakfast and the staff were all super helpful.Two pools which is always nice.
The terrain is very steep and the building with the second pool and the apartments is a bit of a climb away - you can take the car of course, but if like us you prefer to walk, it is quite a steep climb, without steps. A bit slippery when raining too. Typical for this area of the country (that's what makes for the beautiful views!) but worth considering if travelling with someone with reduced mobility/less able to walk.

Een geweldig uitzicht en een fijn zwembad. Op rij afstand van restaurants en het meer.
Het appartement was verouderd. Was zeer schoon maar een upgrade van de inrichting en keuken inventaris zou goed zijn.

The view from the breakfast room is staggering. The staff were very helpful. Plenty of recommendations for local restaurants. The setting was absolutely gorgeous.
The slope from the road down to the hotel is incredible steep. Nothing unusual in this part of the world but if you are in any way incapacitated it could be a challenge for you.
