Located near the end of a main road, but merely a short walk from the centre, the area is remarkably peaceful during the day and quiet at night.
The room was compact but fitted out with all the facilities you could want.
The standard of cleanliness was very very high, and the bed very comfy !
The owner was very friendly and helpful, ensuring that the free coffees and sugars in the room were sufficient for my needs.
The best recommendation I can give is that I would like to return to Beechwood Guest House for my next stay !

It’s a short walk from the guest house to the dramatic harbour mouth, magnificent beaches, family-friendly funfair, relaxing adjacent parks and countless eateries.
I would have valued a reading lamp.

It was a lovely property that was clean and welcoming and perfectly placed for easy travel
Sometimes parking was difficult if all spaces in the area were taken so it meant circling the area for a space or parking further away and having to walk
