We had a great time during our stay. Hotel in a strategic position in Cerro Concepcion. Marcelo and Gloria were perfect hosts.
Excellent breakfast with the possibility to choose between different options. We stayed in winter and in the rooms you can have an electric heating that served to get a good temperature.
The structure of the house, the furnishings and the atmosphere make you feel in a bygone era. All very nice.

I very much enjoyed the hospitality extended by Marcelo and his wife. The manoir is comfortable, and I had a lovely room with views of the city skyline. Comfy bed, good breakfast, and central location.

We arrived early off a cruise and my husband was very unwell. They put us in a different but similar room to what we booked so my husband could go straight to bed. We must express our thanks and gratitude for the kindness and helpfulness both the man and woman showed. They really went above and beyond making special drinks for my husband and just being generally caring and helpful.
This is an historic building so you have to accept a slightly sloping floor, but it really is unique and in a wonderful location overlooking the harbour and walking distance to restaurants etc

Hosts: Very welcoming and helpful, with excellent English spoken.
Breakfast: Delicious and cooked to order with a range of options.
Building: Stunning, with a rooftop terrace and views.
Location: Excellent for all the must-see sites and for cafes and restaurants.
Bathroom: En-suite with shower, though basic.
Cat: Arya was photogenic, cute and “shy”. WARNING: She bites!!
Noise: We stayed on a Friday & Saturday in Sept. facing Paseo Atkinson & the mirador. Overnight there was noise from groups on the mirador (moved on by police in the early hours) and bass from the nightclubs/bars below (until c.3am). Plus sporadic noise from passing partygoers. During the day there is noise from tourist groups, buskers & performers, sporadic drumming outside and music from below. Take ear plugs.
Bathroom: We may be too picky, but our towels smelt unpleasantly of mildew & the basin hot water tap didn’t work.
