We loved everything about our stay here. The room was to a high standard, comfy bed, exceptionally clean and well located in Amed. The bonus was the fantastic staff, who were the most friendly, helpful and cheerful people you could wish for. Views of Mount Agung and the beach from our balcony too. Wow!

We thought this was going to be the loudest hotel we would stay at during our trip to Bali, due to its proximity to the main road through Amed, but it ended up being the quietest! We were in the Executive Suite on the second floor. The room was modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. But most of all, it was dead quiet, which was so nice. No traffic noise, no barking dogs, no loud roosters in the morning, no music, no nothing. It was heavenly. For this reason alone, I would not hesitate to stay here again. The room had a very effective AC unit, which could cool the room down to whatever temperature you wanted. Pretty rare for Bali! The room didn't have a clean filtered water dispenser, but there was one in the hallway just outside the room, so that's fine. They had a nice pool, and they had lounge chairs on the beach underneath a big tree with plenty of shade. Ultimately, this hotel - and particularly that room - gave us the perfect spot to relax and sleep after a busy day of exploring.

There were 4 things that bothered us: 1) The day before our arrival they texted us on Whatsapp to confirm our check-in and check-out dates, except they got the dates wrong. They had us checking in and checking out a day early. When we sent them screenshots of our booking.com reservation, they informed us they had no rooms available for the last night. And we were basically on our own to find something else. This was the day before our arrival in Amed, just as we were about to leave on an excursion, so it was quite stressful to try to find an alternative accommodation on such short notice. The owner kept asking us to cancel our booking.com reservation, and rebook directly with them, but he wouldn't confirm that he we would waive the cancellation fee, despite acknowledging that the hotel messed up our reservation. That means we had to wait until we arrived in Amed to care of all that, including booking another hotel for the last night! Not the type of stress we wanted during our vacation. Also, it meant we had to pack up our stuff, and check into another hotel during the last day of our vacation. I would have preferred to spend that time snorkeling or something! It was just a lot of wasted time. Coincidentally, we overheard the manager having a conversation on speaker phone while we were having breakfast next to the front desk. He was talking to a woman who also had part of her stay canceled by them! Except she wanted to cancel her whole stay, instead of us who decided to keep our reservation except for the last night. Why does this hotel keep canceling parts of people's reservations?? It can't be a mistake or a glitch every time?! Is it because they get an opportunity to make more money off someone else? It all comes across quite sketchy. 2) They guilt-tripped us into paying cash. More lost time to get enough cash from ATMs. 3) The breakfast area was open to the main road in front, and was loud! 4) The water pressure in the shower was really low.
