The area has its own magic. You’re surrounded by nature. Host was responsive, attentive and prepared breakfast and dinner for us with local products that you could feel the quality. I recommend you are hungry to enjoy the food before/after a hiking day at Plitvice. We really enjoyed our stay here!
The bed only had a bed protector and the duvet. It didn’t include a flat/fitted sheet. Not sure if it was a mistake or that’s common practice in the area. We slept above the duvet since it was summer and not cold.

Loved the country setting, birds singing, very peaceful.
Shower was a little small for larger people, but was satisfactory. Fine for me!

I have nothing but good things to say about house Izvor. Not only our hosts were extremely accommodating and kind, I could really feel their sincerity. Their attention to details were immaculate. The dinner portion was amazingly filling and extremely delicious as well! The place was also extremely beautiful, even better that it’s so close to the National park entrance. I wish I could’ve stayed more days.
