What a beautiful and historic place! It felt like we are staying in a museum for a few nights. Absolutely beautiful building and interior! Nice pool, great breakfast, absolutely stunning garden, that is taken care of well. Lovely staff and also good location to reach many sights.
It feels like the place is not fully taken care of in many smaller details. But if you keep doing that for a long time, things add up and leave the impression that the owner doesn‘t care about it too much anymore - which is sad for a place like this (e.g. restoring the paintings on the wall, taking care of the rooftop terrace which is not used anymore, etc.)

Very nice heritage style Hotel. Could do with a little more updates on the menu but a great, warm, friendly atmosphere that makes it very comfortable and easy to fall in. Love with all the best, hotel bissau and staff

Some of the staff were very kind
The building and the rooms need renovations, you are not getting what you’re paying for. The descriptions of features for the property are out dated and misleading. We completed a normal load of washing which was 3,700 rupees which is extortionate.
