Great location. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Staff were helpful.
Renovations were occurring for over an hour on our arrival but staff dealt with the matter.

The Receptionist was lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was good having parking at the door. The restaurant was good.
It would have been nice to have a toaster.
The workmen started making noises at 6:40 on Saturday which was a bit too early. They were also shaving fire doors and the shavings were blowing everywhere.

The room has been renovated (? not complete yet) recently, the bed was very good and the AC worked well. The wifi signal was strong and the data speed was good. The onsite Thai restaurant made a superb Thai Beef Salad for me.
The room was very noisy; a combination of noise from the road and car park through one door, renovation noise (stopped 6pm, started 7am) through the inside door and very noisy pipes, which was the most intrusive because one traveller had a shower at 3:45 am then backed their truck (beeping so I knew it was backing) at 0415. The pipe noise was so noticeable because there are old style large fish eye lights in the bathroom in which the original R80 lights have been replaced by led light sticks which leave a large gap running from the bathroom into the ceiling space. The upper floor is being renovated and was empty, otherwise it would have been even noisier if there was someone in the room above. Note the motel was full so with the early hour I didn't bother reception about the noise. I booked less than a day before, if you book ahead and get a room at the back it would be quieter.
