Great room with beautiful view of the harbour, cosy bed and great breakfast

The noise of the staff making up the rooms on the second morning, even had a radio on as well as loud voices. The doors could do with a strip at the bottom to lessen the noise and light at night

Dennis at desk was very very efficient , friendly and helpful, and so was Natalie on the desk. Housekeeping great too. Lovely big bed, and a sea- view. Dinner and Dinner staff were terrific all round. Dinner was served quickly with friendly faces and ambience.

There was a constant bad smell coming from the bathroom from start until finish. One day for 3 hrs no-one manned the front desk when I phoned down. I needed to make an enquiry but got no answer. When eventually had to go downstairs at around 2.30pm. we were given a reason from the person at front desk having to have "an appointment". Why did they not arrange to have someone else stand in for all that time-in case of a room emergency (ie a patron having a Stroke). The host at breakfast was very helpful and friendly , however the table was not very clean (sticky). The breakfast equipment (tea/coffee ) were constantly (each day), going wrong.
