+ friendly owners
+ excellent food in the restaurant
+ comfy beds
+ beautiful countryside
- room looking good at first sight, but in need of repairs; there was a feeling of very low maintenance
- wallpaper peeling off, holes in the walls where paintings probably used to hang in the past, worn out finishings
- cleaning-related, bed sheets were clean, but there were spider webs through the room, bird dirt on the window sill, and greasiness around parts where doors / furniture are usually handled
- noisy toilet that isn't allowed to be flushed at night; missing separating top window between room and toilet (looked like it used to be there in the past, but it was left like that after the old one failed)
- with serious cleaning and careful fixing, this could be a much better experience
