We stayed for one night and had an early check-in, which was really nice and much appreciated.
The location is good, and there are some free parking spaces in front of the hotel, if you are lucky enough to find one.
Regarding the room, unfortunately, this is where our experience was a little disappointing. The room was quite small and the layout was not very practical. The bathroom was small, the kitchen area was also very small and located in a somewhat inconvenient space, and the balcony did not have a particularly pleasant view. I think if we had been given a better room, my overall review might have been different, as there was nothing wrong with the hospitality or the service, which were both good.
I also have a small comment regarding the breakfast. It is not an open buffet; instead, breakfast is served to you without being asked what you would like. We were given shared jam and honey, toast, an egg and bacon for each person, bread, yoghurt, fruit salad, coffee or tea, and orange juice. While there was plenty of food, it was actually too much for us. We would have preferred a smaller amount, also to avoid unnecessary food waste. Perhaps the hotel could consider asking guests what they would like before serving the breakfast.

The hotel was in a brilliant location in Chania, only a 15 minute walk from the Old Town and centre of Chania, whilst also being in a quiet area next door to a great supermarket. The hosts were great and offered so much help with renting cars and best beaches to visit. Will defo be returning.
