We had a wonderful stay at Al Capo! The hosts were an absolute highlight. They gave us great tips on what to do and see in town, and they were attentive both through Booking and in person while still respecting our privacy. It was exactly the right balance of welcoming and unobtrusive.
The location couldn’t be better. You’re right in the middle of the Mercato del Capo, which makes it very central and easy to explore Palermo on foot.
The only “downside” is also part of the charm: being in the middle of the market means you’re in the midst of the action, with people around and plenty of lively voices (the market vendors’ shouting is pretty normal here in Sicily 😉). Depending on how you look at it, that’s either a negative or a positive, and for us it was part of the excitement of being in the thick of it all.

The property is in the Capo Market. Luckily the market close around 3:00pm so it does not really impact your sleep later. The property has a full kitchen so you can save a few bucks making a meal or two. The AC could hade worked better but they brought a fan that helped. Overall I had a good stay there.
They need to have the AC serviced it barely worked. The shower is tiny. Finding the entrance was challenging. It’s on the side street not on the main street of the market.

Brilliant location, close to centre of Palermo. Apartment overlooked the busy historical market but was vey peaceful at night time. Lift to all floors and kitchenette had everything you needed.

The locatiion near the attractions and close to a parking (although it is ON the VERY market so it’s very noisy from 6.30 am and also you have the “smell”of fried fish all the time) The owner is very nice and kind even she came as soon as possible to solve some issues
The bad conditions of the fridge and the cupboard .The apartment was very clean and tidy but the fridge, the cutlery and the microwave were not 🙄
