I stayed three nights, and while the first night was rough due to a power cut and a delay with the generator, the owner handled it professionally, took responsibility, waived the night’s cost. After that though, the stay was excellent. The cottage is right on the sea. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was unforgettable.
The staff were very kind and helpful, and the owner is engaging and knowledgeable. It’s a little out of the way, but taxis and motorbikes are easy to find. Once I settled in, it was absolutely worth it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a calm seaside stay.

The location is as good as you can get.
The staff are really lovely.
The self catering bungalows are much better than the basic bungalows.
Property is next to a huge building site.
Lots of noise from 9am to 5pm. No works on Saturday or Sunday.
Breakfast is comically bad.

Fabulous location right on the beach. Fajara is a lovely area away from the hustle and bustle but close in a taxi. Couple of decent restaurants nearby . Rooms are basic but very good value. Wonderful to run straight into the sea and play in the waves

Close to generator, much noise, but far from official / dining area and no wi fi or weak signal.

"Great hotel for the price. It is right in front of a sandy beach and you can go for a swim. The hotel is not touristy and there are mostly locals there and on the beach. The receptionist was very help..."
