Beautiful location with nice views and access to small picturesque beach. Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food and good portions. Great wildlife viewings on property - sloth, capuchin monkeys, toucans, macaw, and many other tropical birds.
No AC but we don’t mind that because there are fans and ocean breezes and it allows you to listen to the sounds of the jungle.

We had a fantastic stay at Las Caletas Lodge over New Years 2025-2026. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful and the facilities were fantastic. The lodge itself is set in the most beautiful location along the Drake Bay Hiking Trail where you can easily see monkeys running around on the roofs - we even saw a sloth down on the local beach. Honestly, it couldn’t have been a more magical way to end 2025 and our honeymoon. And the food was fantastic too. Can’t recommend enough!!

The location is amazing as well as the views to the ocean. The local beach las Caletas is a great beach where to spend the day. The room was spacious we had the duplex, it has also a balcony with an hammock.
The food for dinner is too basic and portions are too small. There are no options, the menu is one starter, one main and one dessert. As I have to eat dairy free I had just fruits. We stayed three days and we had twice chicken and once pasta with tomatoes sauce.

Beautiful property, very friendly staff and very good food. We were surrounded by a tropical forest and had a chance to see and to hear monkeys and birds. Very enchanting…
Would be nice to have an air conditioning, but we did OK with 3 different fans in our room.
