The decor of ‘small houses’ are quite smart and very good quality, the hot tub is fired up in the am. I love that it’s quiet enough even though it’s on a working apple farm, it was safe even for me to travel alone.
Little more attention to tiles in the shower:/

The property is really beautiful. The staff is exceptionally friendly, especially with kids. Every corner has something for the kids, including numerous activities. The beach was great fun! There was even an Easter egg hunt for the kids. I highly recommend Old Mac Daddy for parents with young kids looking to relax (although you might be hunting them down the entire weekend). Lastly, the staff made every effort to make my little boy feel loved and celebrated on his 6th birthday. Thank you for that.

The Hot Tub.
We stayed in Kaapse Nooi. There is too many things in the tiny home which makes it almost impossible to move around. The kitchen had no useful utensils - i.e. a pot, proper knives, bowls or PLATES. There is hardly any space to use the counter top. And it's supposed to be self catering. There isn't even a microwave - something basic and small would do. Why would you put the braai area in a communal area? ESPECIALLY in winter. We need to walk in the dark and wait In a queue to braai when there's ample space to have a braai at the tiny home. By the time we reached our unit after the braai, the food was cold. The hot tub, although great, has zero privacy at this unit, yet all other units had a privacy screen. The ventilation as a whole is horrible and moisture is easily trapped in Winter. No one wants to open a window in cold weather. There are no nets on the windows for any critters that come into the place either. So the large windows are pretty useless at night for air. I almost had an asthma attack on the second night because of all the moisture trapped in the unit. I slipped and fell on the stairs on both days I left the unit. The wood chips next to the unit is unsafe. I slipped on it and fell because it was damp, and had no traction. The grass was wet. I also fell down the wooden steps because the steps is slippery due it being painted. Kaapse Nooi is the only unit on an incline. Yeah, pretty average stay, if you ask me and a little disappointed.
