Superb views, bungalow was good.
Eat in the restaurant two nights which was good value.
Lovely swimming pool.
Some attention needed to the balcony decking needed.
Ok for us but very narrow steep approach if anyone unsure of driving and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Not very much going on in Provesende.

Location at the edge of the small village providense. Spectacular view across the Douro Valley. Nice new bungalows with balconies. Great swimming pool and grounds. Great breakfast.
The staff are a little unfriendly and very strict and rule oriented. There are about 6 rooms and a little Portuguese hospitality would turn this into a spectacular property. Veranda doors do not lock. Seems to be an issue with all rooms. We only are one evening meal as it was poor value. One glass of wine served and out of a box! Yes!! We are in the Douro Valley and they serve box wine!!
